The Deer at our lodge
Hike to Carter Falls

Rain was the only way i could aptly desribe my weekend. There was rain from the moment we reach Mt. Rainier and till we part. Unbelievable! Rain refuse to cease but again it did not dampened our spirit.
We went about our merry way, BBQ...eat ..... sleep.... monopoly ....and some hike in the rain. all in all, it was a good, relaxing break.

ICHIRO 51 - the star player for the Mariners was awesome. He did not fail to give a good show, saving the day and beating the San Diego Padres 7 - 4. it was just so much fun jumpin up to the excitement when there is a home run. simply amazing. Baseball... the great American game.
Ichiro just symbolizes that the American Dreams have Asians written on it.... Go Mariners ...Go Ichiro!

Blazing fast all wheel drive rally cars, breaking the silence of the otherwise serene Tillamook state forest. These dirt warriors, drives their machine, some top notch, some so beat up i wouldnt drive myself, through the winding forest roads. Pics are taken at Camp 5 spectator area. rocks and dust are spewed all over when they race pass us. its thrilling to watch!

Snoqualmie over President's Day weekend

The park by the waterfall, small but beautifully kept
Panoramic view of the waterfall. snows was still apparent.
The fall in winter; water level was low

Long weekend beckons adventures ... so we head out again, no preparation whatsoever (bad idea) to eastern washington. We stop at snoqualmie falls, east of Bellevue. its a nice little community, spanking new houses over looking the cascades, almost like a little Switzerland by itself.

the weather turned unexpectedly favorable last weekend. The sun was smiling tirelessly whole day long. i could not miss it for the world. we took a quick tour of starbucks office (my jaw dropped) and i know the stark contrast between a tech company and a service industry company.
then we head of to the Bainbridge Island via washington park ferry. it was such a perfect day trip.

Sunset at Bandar Botanic

sunset panoramic
sunset view vertical
view from a bridge across the lake
after spending 15 years in the old family home, we have moved, yes rather hastily to a spanking new neighbourhood of Bandar Botanic. it faces a man made lake and a elaborately lanscaped garden around it. i just wonder how long will it be maintained?

Seattle All Over Again

Lobby of Harbor Steps
Seattle!!!!
more and more buildings

Who would have thought, Seattle would be our "new" home? We drove up on Saturday and put up at the temporary apartment Starbucks assigned. pretty close to Pike market, so naturally we just hang about the downtown.

Hsu Kiang and Astrid! Near to Pike's market? that means can invite us for seafood dinner or something! just kidding! nice shots of the 'Harbor Steps' apt. only that I wish that tree in the left isn't in. Wed 18-Jan-2006 00:16
